Professor Peter McCullough
Tutor in English at Lincoln College, Oxford, and Professor in the University's Faculty of English
Peter is an expert on the Religious History of Early Modern England, particularly the English preaching tradition, Bible Translation, and liturgy between the Reformation and the Civil War.
He is Fellow and Tutor in English at Lincoln College, Oxford, and Professor in the University's Faculty of English, and served on the Chapter of St Paul's Cathedral as Lay Canon with portfolio for historical matters, including the interpretation of the Cathedral's past for the public.
Sermons at Court: Religion and Politics in Elizabethan and Jacobean England (Cambridge 1998) and Lancelot Andrewes: Selected Sermons and Lectures (Oxford 2005). He is also General Editor of Oxford University Press's new edition of The Complete Sermons of John Donne.
